Project Overview
Source / Cause
Copper plumbing pinhole leak affecting the kitchen and adjacent interior areas
Affected Areas & Materials
Kitchen, adjacent living area, flooring, lower wall and finish materials, and surrounding building materials affected by moisture migration.
What We Found
Inspection identified water damage originating from a copper plumbing pinhole leak. Moisture had migrated through the kitchen flooring and into surrounding areas beyond the immediately visible damage. Infrared screening and moisture readings were used to help identify the extent of the affected materials and establish the mitigation scope.
Work Performed
911 Restoration of Riverside County documented the affected areas, performed water damage mitigation, addressed affected materials as necessary, and installed professional air movement and dehumidification equipment for structural drying. Moisture conditions were monitored during the drying process. After mitigation was completed, the affected areas were reconstructed and restored to a finished condition.
How the Project Was Documented
Infrared screening, moisture readings, initial damage photographs, mitigation progress photos, drying equipment documentation, moisture monitoring, post-mitigation photos, and completed reconstruction photos.
Outcome / Next Step
The affected structure was dried to appropriate conditions and mitigation equipment was removed. 911 Restoration of Riverside County then completed the reconstruction phase, restoring the affected kitchen, flooring, and surrounding interior areas to a finished condition.
